Key Accountabilities: 

 

Role purpose:

The Sn. Brand Development Specialist advocates for brand visibility and consistency, establishing a strong connection between DADU brand and stakeholders. S/he will develop DADU brand activation strategy, with inter and cross-departmental collaboration with internal and external teams, building upon the current reputation and voice to heighten and monitor public awareness of Children’s museum (DADU) in line with QM strategies.

 In particular, the role of Sn. Brand Development Specialist is to assist in the development, delivery, and assessment of the brand to ensure consistency and presence of brand standards.  Working with external agencies/stakeholders, the Sn. Brand Development Specialist will partake in workshops/events, review brand applications across a wide variety of mediums from outdoor signage to stationary to products to advertising.

 The Sn. Brand Development Specialist will drive idea generation and execute effective brand strategies that further ensure brand awareness internally and externally in line with the centralized department for branding affairs.  The role also seeks Project Management capabilities as it is critical to ensure brand guidelines are met while managing project timelines. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 
  • Knowledge & Skills:
    • Commitment to and keen interest in the mission, vision and values of DADU
    • Bilingual (Arabic-English) with a wide range of written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage projects independently, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to think holistically and strategically about brand experience
    • Proven knowledge in Public Relations, Internal Communications, Protocol, Creative Services, Advertising, Branding, Exhibition marketing, Digital Marketing, and Web Site development and management 
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree qualification or higher (Master’s Degree) in Digital Marketing or related fields
  • Experience:
    • At least nine years of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations in cultural attractions or children related sectors
    • Experience in managing multi-channel marketing projects
    • Experience of digital marketing including digital media
    • Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work in teams as well as independently
    • Extensive experience of working with content and creative teams
